Technology can be cheap?

That’s right! After searching the web and taking suggestions from colleagues, I decided to set up a forum for the discussion and recommendation of inexpensive educational technology. Please click on the “Technology Resources” tab above to view my latest list of free educational technologies.
I am a first year teacher with an amazing technology staff in my district. Needless to say, I have had the opportunity to use laptops in class, create Podcasts, blog, and use other computer applications to enhance the curriculum. However, I am curious to hear about other educators’ uses for technology. Please feel free to post your suggestions!

I plan to explore surveymonkey and create a survey for potential adopters of our puppies, and I plan to explore Audacity to see about snagging some song clips for my new website(s) , germanwirehair.org and arabhorse.info, on which I have not yet started constructing the websites. I am not yet in my internship year, and my CT(gr 3) I have never seen use any technology with her students. The children do go to technology class. I am thinking about adding the star office to my desktop. I already have Microsoft office. I also want to learn abgout Nvu, which I have read about, as an open source website creation program. And I want to check the typing game on “child’s play”. I like to work on improving my typing speed periodically.
